This drug is indicated for the treatment of several types of cancers like ovarian cancer, lung cancer, head cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, bladder cancer, cervical cancer, CNS tumours, osteogenic sarcoma etc. Mechanism of Action of Carboplatin Carboplatin having tendency to slowdown or stop the cancerous cells to grow further and multiplying themselves rapidly. As a result cancerous cells get killed.
